~ a squishy blanket ~

I finished this small blanket a little bit ago.  I crocheted it with Bernat Blanket brights in the color 'raspberry ribbon variegated', and I used an N hook.
It's kind of heavy, but it's really soft and squishy.

Here is my Sam - she is 'reading' her favorite book.  This little girl will be 2 years old at the end of this month.  Time flies by so quickly.  :)

~ a blanket for Baron ~

I finished this small granny square blanket a little bit ago.  It's for my new puppy Baron that I will be getting either this weekend or next weekend.  Baron is from the same parents as Princess.

I crocheted the blanket with some vintage yarn that my Uncle Phil gave me that belonged to my late Aunt Lena.
It's called Caron Quick Knit and it is a 100% acrylic, super worsted weight yarn.  My Aunt Lena had bought it from a store called Bradlees that hasn't been around here since the 80's.  She paid $1.29 for each 3 oz. skein.

Enjoy your day.  :)

~ popcorn granny square lapghan ~

I finished this popcorn granny square lapghan a few nights ago.  It originally started out as a baby blanket, but I like it so much I'm going to be selfish and keep it for myself as a lapghan.

I used 2 and 1/2 skeins of Red Heart Super Saver Ombre yarn in the color 'scuba'.

I have to be honest and say that I will most likely never make another one.  Those popcorns just take too long to crochet.  Although making smaller squares would be ok.  I'll think on that.  :)

~ granny square lapghan for my Mom ~

I  crocheted this lapghan for my Mom using yarns that had belonged to my late Aunt Lena.  Aunt Lena is my Mom's sister, and she passed away in April.  I also crocheted hats for my Uncle Chris (her brother), and my Uncle Phil (her husband).

Thanks for dropping by.  :)

Hello - is it me you're looking for?

Ok - you've probably not been looking for me since I haven't been here for a year, but here I am.

I've decided that I'll be checking in every once in a while.  Maybe just to say "hi", maybe post a small pattern, or maybe just to post a few pictures.

I hope everyone's been well, and I wish you all a great day.  :)
